Lakewood NJ-Creative Manager, Inc., provider of Creative Project Manager and Creative Manager Pro, has released version 7.8 of its flagship product, adding over twenty-five enhancements within the flagship Ad Agency Management system, including Project-based P&L reporting from within the General Ledger.
No installation or conversion will be necessary, and the update is free to all users of Creative Project Manager and Creative Manager Pro. All client logins and vendor logins are free.
With its version 7.8, Creative Manager raises the bar for traffic/project management systems by adding automatic assignments and allocation of hours. All a traffic manager needs to do is pick the team that he wants on the job and the system does the rest. The skills needed for each assignment type are matched to the skills of the team members chosen and viola the project schedule is ready to go.
Estimating has always been a forte of Creative Manager. In this new release, all expenses in an estimate are fully integrated through to purchasing. Users can quickly and automatically generate purchase orders from estimates with one button.

Creative Manager Pro continues to invest heavily to add the new features which work with Apple's OS X Unix-based Operating System and Microsoft Windows. This month's update for Mac OS X Tiger continues in that tradition.
Expanding on its commitment to excellence in accounting, Creative Manager adds the ability to generate P&L reports by project, directly from the general ledger. Company expenses such as payroll can now be automatically reclassified to projects, and users are now able to enter journal entries by Project ID to record accrued expenses to a project.

* Daily email notification of missing time for everyone that I approve time

* Unapplied Advance Bills and Unapplied Receipts Reports
* Master Task List
* Auto-allocation of task hours estimated to appropriate staff member
* Track billing to the task. Show estimated, billed, remaining to be billed
by task.
* Show allocated hours on Schedule and reports.
* Add Notifications tab to Assignments so that assigned user and users in
the notifications tab are notified when assignments are updated or
deleted(CoolBlue).
* Add option to customize Activity Type for contact management.
* Allow users to lookup contact e-mail addresses when printing and e-mailing
reports.
* Add lookup to Contact on POs.
* Allow users to lookup Station or Publication in media orders instead of
Vendor IDs.
* Allow multiple qty option on request for quotes.
* Allow multiple qty options to print at 10 point font size for amounts
greater than $10k without wrapping the decimals.
* Allow users to create POs from the expenses on the approved estimate.
* Add assignment types with the ability to add custom fields to assignments
* Add check for changes in the Grid View to prompt users to save before
leaving Grid View for time entry
* Add ability to enter a job ID on journal entries a. Journal entries to
jobs must show up as a job detail and be included in all job cost and profit
reports (i.e. profit by job, realization rate, etc.)
* Create a function that automatically reclassifies PR expenses to job ID's
based on a percentage of hours worked on that job for the period.
* Modify the Profit and Realization reports to show a split expenses into
two columns (direct expenes from vendor invoices and misc expenses. The
purpose is to be able to tie out direct expenses from the Job reports
directly to the GL
* Modify the P&L reports and the Excel interface to be able to run a P&L by
Job.
* Add option to run aging reports by Due Date instead of Invoice Date.
* Change assignments Dashboard Part - add due by time column
* Enhance Project Diary - Add option for e-mail notifications for project
diary entries
* Modify Project Snapshot part
