... I wanted to pass along how much I really like Technesis. You worked to help us get setup with the SmartSynch part of the program last month which has been really helpful. Since it too has a SQL backend and is web-based, it is a huge time savings for tracking our print production in-house. The program paid for itself and two printers I bought in the first 90 days as well all the maintenance, toner and paper every month.Thought I'd pass that along as something that could help some of your other clients.
By the way, kudos on the continuing enhancement of CM. Almost every change has been one that helps me be more efficient in my work day and I really appreciate your focus on making the product the best it can be for your clients.

We have been working with Creative Manager Pro for nearly a year now, and over the first 9 months I thought it was great. However, I must say, my opinion has changed.
Now we think it's even better! (did I have you going for a second?) A few months ago we finally added a traffic manager to our staff, and now that she is settled and we have had some time to explore, I am impressed with the features we had never used (and some of the ones that were just added). We just got back into recording our time properly, and now we are scheduling tasks for everyone properly.
Overall, it has started to transform our informal (lack of) processes and streamline every aspect of our work. It has given me more insight into our profitability than I have had in the 10 years we have been in business. My whole staff is now focused on the green line on their chargeability graph and how much closer they can get it to the red line. In real terms, this means everyone is focused on billing all of their time, which I could never have managed without being able to share the information so easily. All that in a month!
And we have not even gotten into media, digital assets, financial reporting and client access yet. We appreciate your willingness to hear from your clients (even the small ones), the super-fast support, the fair pricing, and attention to detail.

I therefore continued to do things with databases, spreadsheets and QuickBooks. This past year has been a very intense growth year for us, which I could not have managed without your program and your guidance. I am listing below some of Creative Manager Pro's features that have helped us this past year:
1. Organization Ð this has improved tremendously
2. Efficiency Ð again, this program has definitely made us more efficient.
3. Project notes Ð this is wonderful when you need to remember why you did something three months later
4. Accountability Ð I can easily see who is being lax. The timesheet module is great.
5. Account management Ð our A/E's feel they are in control.
6. Job profitability Ð this allows us to learn from our mistakes and also to monitor how we are doing as a job progresses.
7. Daily updates and reminders Ð this is a tremendous help with all that I have to keep up with.
8. Calendar Ð we have used other web-based calendars, but this one is the best.
9. Web-based, therefore, I feel safe in knowing that our data is being backed up and secure without having to depend on an employee or myself do this internally.
10. Web-based - allows employees access when traveling.
11. QuickBooks interface for accounts payable has worked flawlessly.
12. Tech support Ð everyone has always been very professional and helpful. Using e-mail to resolve any problems I might have is great because I can always refer back to my questions and their answers. Plus I can easily forward to other users.
Any agency that wants to continually advance should be using Creative Manager Pro. In today's competitive world you must be in control of your business and constantly evolving to stay on top. Your program updates and enhancements permit agencies to do just that. Also, allowing each user/agency to have input into future enhancements/changes demonstrates how committed Creative Manager Pro is to their customer.

A Great Choice for a Focused Firm
We are an Internet Marketing Firm that does both Web Design, Development, Applications Integration and Online Marketing and Advertising for large corporations. We have looked for a solution like this for 9 years that met the flexibility requirements we need. Remote access for our people and freelancers, client access to specific areas, accounting and business analytics. Like any system, what comes out is only as good as what goes in but we are getting a great deal of decision making info out of this system. And its focus on best practices is allowing our team to focus on client issues rather than a bunch of process issues.
It started as a time tracking and project management system that had added benefits. Those added benefits are beginning to eclipse the others from a top-level business management perspective. We also just added the accounting functions and are ready to begin using it as our main accounting system after less than 30 days of set up. I have switched accounting systems in the past and this is excellent.
Another aspect of buying it as a service is that it puts a good amount of pressure on the provider to improve the system. Our experience is that they are responsive to requests and criticisms. The Web based aspect has its inherent benefits and draw backs but all in all it is a big win for us!

Creative Project Manager is helping my 5-person creative person firm take our work to the next level. I've been able to take on twice the workflow without expanding personnel, simply with the efficiencies it affords. Most amazing has been the client management systems -- and tracking new leads and promising opportunities. Creative Project Manager has allowed me to set up systems to track 1,500 business prospects, break them down into prioritized levels of interest, also divide them into sector-based databases -- and ultimately allow us to mount a cost-effective direct marketing campaign that is already showing results. I've recommended it to a few friends already.

I have been working with Creative Manager since July '04 and have been very pleased with the product. In order to get more familiar with the system, I referred often (and still do) to the online training videos that are accessed through the system. These videos have proven to be quite helpful... If there is ever a problem that stumps me, I e-mail their customer service with the problem and receive a reply with the help that I need within the same day, most often within the same hour. Their customer service support is top notch and always very courteous. The addition of Creative Manager to our department has been very beneficial. I highly recommend!

We've been happy users of Creative Manager Pro (CMP) for over two years now, and it includes all of the project management tools that we need for managing our business. The system is easy to use, responsive, and constantly improving.
For the money, there is no other project management software like it. It's got what it takes to manage all of our projects, from web-based timesheet and expense report entry, Budgets and Estimates, to Scheduling, Billing, and all aspects of Accounting.
Clients are able to log into the system at no extra charge, to see the status of their projects, review invoices, and even download documents.
CMP is also very economical. For the money that we've paid to use this system, we're nowhere near what another system would have cost to install, not to mention the server itself, the backup software, and the ongoing maintenance. With Creative Manager Pro, all we have to do is buy another Mac or PC, turn it on and point the web browser toward our data. It's that simple. If we are on the road, we can even log in remotely over a standard web browser and have complete control and functionality as if we were at the office, even on a slow speed dialup internet account.
There's nothing ever to install. In all of this time, even with the monthly upgrades, I've never installed or ran an upgrade on any of our machines in order for Creative Manager Pro to work. It just works.
But the best part is the support team, from Greg and Mike to the rest of the team. They are by far the most responsive to our calls for help - we never would have expected a support team to be so responsive. Considering the experience we've had with other project management software, the level of support was the unexpected bonus. Even many of our suggestions for enhancements, features, etc have made it into the current release.
All in all, I highly recommend Creative Manager Pro. For its software, it's support and the people who stand behind it.

Since we've started using Creative Manager, the support staff has been there for us at all points along the way, providing telephone support to guide us in setting it up, and answering our emails promptly - usually within an hour or two. Everyone we've dealt with there has been extremely helpful and informative, and has supported us in making our transition into using Creative Manager as smooth a process as possible.

We had a few licenses to Clients and Profits. We hated that system. For all of the support that we paid to Clients and Profits, they told us to go and read the manual. Creative Manager Pro is great! Creative Manager support is great! And you guys are great!

tool. It actually does things. In Clients and Profits, the
billing worksheet was just a printable sheet that
people could make notes on to give back to you so
you could go to all sorts of places and

We just finished the switch from Clients and Profits to Creative Manager Pro on
Monday. It took two of us about a month, working
maybe two hours a day, to switch over our current
jobs, clients, and vendors to Creative Manager Pro. The staff
started using the product full-time on Dec. 1 and
they love it! The designers like the time card,
the accountant managers love the project
management, and our estimators and traffic folks
love the rest.
The support and training are great. It has been a very easy switchover for us.
We have eleven people and usually have about 75-100
jobs open at a time, if that helps.
I am so happy to finally say goodbye to C&P (Clients and Profits). Good
